  • One week home

    0
I’m back! Actually, I’ve been back for nearly a week, but I’ve been too lazy to update this clunky blog.

So what happened in NY? I’ll leave that for another post, or maybe another series of posts, a la Outward Bound. I’m not looking forward to writing that though, because of my little nitpicking perfectionism which means I’ll spend the better part of a month writing about 20 days in America. And worse still, there’s the 2500 photos and >200 videos which I need to go through, edit, resize and upload before I’ll feel satisfied.

But what happened after the holiday?

First of course is the death of Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon and Billy Mays. All big people and all dead in the same week. :O

Then there’s school. I actually came back on a Saturday, but due to school rules and a certain ‘flu flying around, I stayed at home for 4 days, which essentially means I skipped a total of 12 days of school in June.

    Don’t be jealous.

Anyways, now I’m playing catch up on my work and club activities. Not fun, but so far not as bad as I thought it would be.

The worst thing which happened to me is the jet lag. This past week everyday I’ve been suffering from a very strange sleeping pattern. It’s hard to describe, but one of its effects is that I slept at 9pm last night and woke up at 3.30am this morning, which is why I actually have time to write this post.

That’s all for now… I need to prepare for school again. Just like old times.
